Peanut Butter and Jam Chocolate Twist

Reinvent the PB&J with this Peanut Butter and Jam Chocolate Twist! The kids will love it as much as the adults do so try this one for your next gathering. Made simple using our Crafted Chocolate Twist Loaf cake mix.


  • 1 packet White Wings Crafted Chocolate Twist Loaf
  • 3 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp raspberry jam
  • ½ cup salted peanuts, roughly chopped


  1. Prepare and roll out dough mixture as directed. Grease and line a 20cm x 10cm tin with baking paper.
  2. Mix the peanut butter with the included sugar mixture (rather than the butter as direct on the packet), spread over dough, leaving a 2cm border, then spread the jam over the top of the peanut butter layer. Top the jam with the chopped chocolate pieces and gently press into dough.
  3. Starting from the longest edge, tightly roll the dough to enclose the filling. Cut the rolled dough lengthways to expose the filling. Join the two cut pieces together at the ends and then cross over each other, forming a plait until the dough is twisted to the end.
  4. Gently lift and place the twist into the baking tin. Cover loosely with a tea towel and set aside in a warm place to prove for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 180C conventional or 160C, fan forced. Once proved bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
