Banana Bread with Chia Seeds & Coconut

Banana Bread
Banana bread boosted with the goodness of chia seeds! Coconut and banana come together in this delicious loaf, perfect for breakfast or a snack!


  • 1 packet White Wings Unbelievably Good Banana Bread
  • 80g vegetable oil
  • 2 medium (196g) ripe bananas, mashed
  • 80mL water
  • 160mL oat milk, or plant-based milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • Coconut yoghurt, to serve


1. Pre-heat oven to 170°C (conventional). Grease and line a loaf tin.

2. Prepare White Wings Unbelievably Good Banana Bread mix as per pack instructions. Stir in chia seeds and 1/2 cup coconut flakes.

3. Pour mix into prepared tin and sprinkle remaining coconut flakes.

4. Bake for 65-75 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out clean. Note: if coconut flakes brown too quickly, place a piece of aluminium foil over the top of the tin.

5. Cool in tin for 10 minutes. Slice and serve while warm with a dollop of coconut yoghurt.
